《Dungeon Siege II: Broken World》是2005年上市的《Dungeon Siege II》的资料片，资料片的故事与原作相衔接，剧情更为曲折。另外，资料片的发行商由原来的微软游戏工作室转为2K Games，不过，不要担心，开发商仍旧是Gas Powered Games。
《Broken World》可以说与《Dungeon Siege II》完美地衔接了起来。世界是破碎的，由于《Dungeon Siege II》中结尾的大毁灭事件，世界变成了荒地，现在，就是你开始战斗的时候了，就是说，你将再次高举你的剑，与无穷的敌人战斗。不幸的是，精灵族的敌人又回来了，他们最大的肮脏习性就是将敌人活活撕成数块，然后又拼合成乱七八糟的一个整体。
资料片可以被看成是《Dungeon Siege II》的玩家的研究生课程，你将在资料片中遭遇到一系列的不同的对手。在资料片中，一开始你就是一个高等级的角色，当然你的敌人也是高等级的。敌人的行为和AI这次也经过了调整，所以你会看到，一些敌人能够产出后代，这些敌人就到一边歇着，让他的后代来对付你。你如果不想遇到这种麻烦，就要用最快的速度将母体迅速消灭。另外一个有趣的地方在于一些敌人会装死，等你接近他们、或者跨越他们的时候，他们会突然攻击你。
《Broken World》的职业系统也有很大的改进，这种改进使得多职业系统更加有效。从前的《Dungeon Siege II》中，你必须将经验值分配给每一种职业，这不能发挥出经验值的最大潜能。这一次在《Broken World》中，你可以将几种职业结合起来，创造一种新的职业类型，你的经验点就直接加在这个新的职业类型中，可以充分利用经验点的作用。另外，《Broken World》中还将加入一种新的种族，但是目前名称还不便透露，制作方表示，这个新的种族可以让你有全新的体验。
　另外，还看到了一些新的游戏环境，比如巨大的地下城市。这座地下城市是一座古老的大城市，它慢慢被矮人发掘出来。另外，游戏的图形引擎也有了一些进步，比如说，现在所有的角色说话时都有了对口型的表现。《Dungeon Siege II: Broken World》的游玩时间大约是10个小时，但是也如《Dungeon Siege II》一样，游戏的重复可玩性很高。
