Shot in Kenya and Tanzania, this film by the BBC Natural History Unit describes the activities of a Dorylus army ant colony over a period of three weeks from one emigration to the next. Fascinating scenes of the raiding behaviour make up the largest part of the film but aspects like emigration behaviour, nest building and reproduction are also included. First shown on British television in January 2006.
