华文（自己翻译的，网上找不到）：出这张专辑的两名歌手，他们都是医生。他们所唱的歌，原本只是用来娱乐在医院里的病人和同事，但渐渐的，他们的才华受承认，而且有许多病人都叫他们出唱片。他们第一次录音时，是在自己家的储蓄房里。当他们把自己的作品寄给唱片公司时，意想不到会大受欢迎。竟然有人也在eBay上买卖他们的唱片。他们所卖唱片得到的钱，都捐给了慈善机构。他们所唱的歌里内容，都是关于健康，医生，病人，卫生部，等等有关于到医疗方面的歌曲。首首都是由他们自己写出来的。他们现在还在英国医院里工作。由于工作是非常忙碌的，他们不可忘了病人的健康而花太多的时间唱歌。但这专辑里的歌，都是蛮不错的。
英文：The moment Adam Kay and Suman Biswas's brilliantly sweary London Underground song first plopped into our inbox, we knew it was going to be a huge hit. When we later discovered that they were both full-time doctors who had produced an entire album of beautifully sweary songs, we knew we had to help them reach a wider audience.
Adam and Suman recorded Fitness to Practice in late 2004 (in one take, in a basement, on a Bontempi keyboard), and sales initially raised a couple of hundred pounds for Macmillan Cancer Relief, as part of their Medical School RAG week.
The Friday Project stepped in, providing online ordering and what-not, while Adam and Suman packaged up and posted out the CDs in their increasingly limited spare time. But by the end of the year, Adam and Suman were exhausted. They were spending every waking hour stuffing envelopes and copying CDs. Patients were dying while they queued in the post office. (On the plus side, by then they’d raised tens of thousands of pounds for Macmillan).
But something had to give; so in December we reluctantly announced that the CD was going off the market.
And that's when the emails started. Thousands of them, all begging us to start selling the CD again. Copies even started changing hands on eBay for 60. Really. It seemed a shame that there were lots of people who wanted copies of the album, and lots of pounds that could be going to Macmillan.
So, faced with overwhelming public demand, Fitness to Practice is back. And we're doing it properly this time. We've enlisted the services of professional copiers and Jiffy-bag stuffers, we've remastered (as they say) the CD, added two fantastic bonus tracks, we've given the whole thing a brilliant new cover and thrown in the complete lyrics for the album. It's better than ever before. And the huge task of sending it out no longer threatens to bring down the NHS. Huzzah!
