over 10.000 picture postcards in colored reproductions of the front and backs, the available collection offers a comprehensive overview of cities and landscapes in Germany from the time of 1895 to 1928.

世界上第一张明信片是1869年在奥地利发行的一张印有邮票的明信片。在1870年和1871年的普法战争中明信片作为战地信件获得青睐和普及。
极限明信片指用一枚美术明信片，在明信片图画一面贴一张同图案邮票，并在邮票和明信片上加盖相关邮戳制成的。
极限明信片的收集是集邮活动是一个类别，它以制作、收集、欣赏、研究极限明信片为主。世界最早的极限片出现在19世纪 末，由旅行者偶然在寄送明信片时将邮票贴在有相同图案的明信片上形成。集邮者有意识的去制作极限明信片应是20世纪10 年代之后。1944年12月2日，在法国成立世界上第一个极限集邮组织"French Maximaphiles"。

Product description of the manufacturer
The famous collecting pictures of the company Liebig were spread in great quantities in Germany between 1872 and 1940, with altogether 1138 series. The pictures manufactured in complex pressure quality are so far hardly an evaluated certification for many ranges of the civil culture of their time. As in demand collecting object they became always highly estimated. In the available edition those are for the first time shown approximately 6900 collecting pictures in high quality completely. All series are seized in a data base, which contains the series and picture titles as well as data apart from material categories to classes and printers. The back printed picture ringing run gene in the full text were seized. On 2 CD-ROM.
