欢乐体育系列游戏是美国 Humongous Entertainment 公司为所有孩子们带来的一套另类、风趣的体育模拟游戏。从《BACKYARD BASEBALL 2005》开始，欢乐体育系列游戏在国内外的家庭中引起很大反响。这里要给大家介绍的是欢乐体育系列游戏的最新作品－－《Backyard Baseball 2007》。
在这款欢乐棒球游戏中，所有的球员都是4至5岁的小朋友。别看年龄小，他们的来头可不小，个个都是美国家喻户晓的人物。虽然是小朋友们在比赛，你依然可以看到精彩的击球。而且游戏的设计完全按照美国职业棒球大联盟的方式进行。
瓦尔德拉玛、查斯坦、米尔布莱特……那一个不是响铛铛的名字，你可以想象他们在同一支球队效力的样子吗？也许你会觉得这是在开玩笑，但现一切都变成了现实，Humongous Entertainment 公司在棒球的明星效应上做足了功夫。之所以称为MLS版，是因为游戏完全是以美国职业棒球大联盟为基础制作的。玩家可以在美国职业棒球大联盟的12支球队中选择最钟爱的球队。
这些球队中共有15位效力在美国男、女职业棒球大联盟中球队的现役球员供玩家选择。当然这些明星在游戏中也返老还童回到了童年时代，游戏中设有联赛模式，玩家率领的球队必须从最低级的乙级联赛开始一步一步的带领自己的球队向超级联赛冠军进发。另外，欢乐体育系列之所以在国外风行，有一个重要的原因就是：全家老少齐上阵，小朋友们就可以和家人一起在同一电脑上同场竞技了。欢乐不再属于一个人，欢乐棒球游戏也就变成了全家的欢乐。
