部分编剧部分临时制作，《最激烈的时刻》是一部发生在政治世界里的讽刺喜剧。设定在权力中心，讲述了一名被人利用的下院议员Hugh Abbot的政治生涯，他已经厌倦了丑恶的10号政策执行者Malcolm Tucker并且依靠他的不怎么可信的文职人员队伍。
